Recently, Tahota's lawyer team led by Peng Zheng assisted Shanghai Arcas in completing Pre-A round of financing. Hubble Technology Investment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the communication giant Huawei, Shanghai UniVista Industrial Software Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai S&T Investment Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Zhangjiang Suifeng Innovation Equity Investment Fund participated in this round of capital increase.

Shanghai Arcas Microelectronics Technology Co. Ltd. was founded in May 2020 by senior electronic design automation (EDA) experts from Silicon Valley and is now located in the Pudong Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park. The founder has a doctor's degree in computer science from a famous university in the United States, and has worked in Silicon Valley's top-level integrated circuit (IC) design automation and the Fortune 500 chip companies. He was also invited to participate in the review and organization of chip design automation conferences (such as DAC, ICCAD, CAV), and published more than 30 papers and monographs on academic books. Members of the company's core team come from Cadence, Synopsys, Xilinx and other international renowned EDA companies and chip design companies, mastering core technologies for IC design automation.

The company's major business includes R&D and counseling of IC design automation system (EDA). The company has four leading advantages in core technology: equivalence function verification, chip and software information security, low energy design optimization and verification, Field Programmable Logic (FPGA) verification. Based on the cutting-edge EDA technology, the company is dedicated to serving the independent chip design industry in China in line with the needs of local users. Now, it has launched two formal verification tools.

After reaching an agreement with Shanghai Arcas regarding the intention of special legal service, our lawyers actively participated in the design of financing plan, as well as the preparation of and negotiation on Term Sheet (TS), capital increase agreement, shareholder agreement and other supporting legal documents, until the company competed all processes of equity financing including industrial and commercial registration of changes for capital increase and transfer of equity financing funds.
